Position Overview:
As the Café Manager at LavaTea, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring both our team and customers have exceptional experiences. You’ll manage staff, maintain quality standards, and drive the success of our boba tea café.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support baristas and other staff, ensuring they perform effectively.
- Schedule shifts, manage payroll, and address staffing issues.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and ensure all supplies are available.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and functioning.
3. Customer Experience:
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring all orders meet expectations.
- Handle customer complaints or issues, resolving them promptly.
- Monitor feedback and online reviews to improve services.
4. Quality Control:
- Ensure all beverages are prepared to LavaTea’s standards.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols in the café.
- Regularly review and update the menu to keep up with trends and preferences.
5. Marketing and Growth:
- Collaborate on promotional strategies with the marketing team.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Engage with the community to foster relationships and drive business.
5. Training and Development:
- Train new employees and provide ongoing development for the team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and integrate new ideas.
- Encourage creativity and innovation within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
